First time to Aruba for us. What a great place to stay! Just a few minutes by car to the high rise areas for lots of shopping (Super Food became our best friend as we ate in for breakfast and one other meal) and restaurants and just a few minutes to the North was our favorite beach, Arashi. Jackie was very helpful with providing recommendations of places to visit (or not if they weren't worth it), restaurants, and beaches. Renting beach chairs for the week is highly recommended. They loaned us a cooler for the week, too. Eve reserved our Sunset Cruise while we were out and about. Friendly staff, beautiful place! Wish there was a ceiling fan on the patio of Ocean 1 because there was little air flow from the breeze but the scenery is stunning. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to Aruba for the first time this summer and stayed for 10 days in the Large Garden Studio at the Sunset Beach Studios. It was perfect for us. The studio has everything you need to live like a local in Aruba. Each morning we'd make coffee and sit on the deck to enjoy the view of the beach across the street. Each evening we'd sit in the same place, sipping a Balashi, watching the sunset. As we'd go off on adventures throughout our stay, the studio was the perfect place to return to--whether to grab a quick bite to eat or take a dip in the pool. Everyone who works at Sunset Beach Studios is incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is adorable and well maintained. It's quiet and private, the perfect setting to relax and unwind. If you're looking for a place swarming with tourists, bustling with overpriced (and usually not very good) restaurants and focused on the party, this is not the place for you. While we were happy to visit the Palm Beach/Eagle Beach area, we were so glad to be able to return to our studio. It's true: Sunset Beach Studios is not a luxury, five-star accommodation with perks like room service and a bar in the swimming pool. But it's charm and impeccable service and fun, local feel more than made up for it. One thing we highly recommend: Rent a car. The area is a little more residential and a car will allow you to not only do everyday things, like go to the grocery store and hit the laundry mat, but also it enables you to explore more of the island. We discovered so many different beaches and local takeaway spots because we had the car. And, if you do want to hit the town, you can hop on a bus that will take you to Palm Beach/Eagle Beach or Oranjestead.

Zimmer ausreichend gro? mit K?chentresen und (kleinem, aber ausreichendem) Badezimmer. Sehr sauber, die Ladies putzen und fegen st?ndig und helfen auch gern bei der W?sche. Der Innenhof ist karibisch, voller Pflanzen/Blumen mit jeweils eigener Terasse, mit Gemeinschafts- Pool und Whirlpool. ?ber die Strasse (hinten eigentlich nicht zu h?ren) gelangt man zum Schiffs-Wrack, toller Schnorchelspot. Auch baden ist m?glich, keine echter Strand aber zu diesem ist es nicht weit. Tolle Str?nde in Fahrrad N?he. Zu Fuss oder mit dem Fahrrad ist der Kitespot erreichbar (Sandstrand). Die Besitzer und Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, helfen auch mit Tipps zu Surfspots und Ausfl?gen. Ausserdem stehen K?hlboxen, Schnorchelequipment, usw. zur Verf?gung. Toller Sonnenuntergang am Meer direkt vor der T?r. W?rde jederzeit wieder kommen! Nur in diese Unterkunft (wir haben die gesamte Insel bereist). Thanks very much Eve and J.P.!

We came to Aruba (couple + 1 baby) and wanted to stay in a quiet place, close to the beach. Sunset Beach Studios was the perfect place for us: the best beaches where either a few minutes walk or a couple of minutes driving away from us. It was quiet and peaceful. We could come back for a lunch nap with our baby, and at night we bbq and went to the pool, while he was asleep. Besides that the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were convenient. If we would come back to Aruba we will definitely go back to Sunset Beach Studios.

I went with my 2 children on a special family holiday (ages 10 and 19) to celebrate my 51st Birthday with my kids and have a fun time together. The location turned out to be the best idea: out of the very busy commercial area, allowing us to savor the peacefulness, the sunrises and sunsets, walking across the street to the ocean and enjoy the charming and cozy place.. The staff was very helpful and with a positive disposition and the right suggestions.. We were in a garden studio. We enjoyed meeting our neighbors and we had everything we needed.. Minutes from the more busy area, walking distance to the windsurfing and kite surfing, but with the tranquility I had hoped for.. we were there from July 23rd to the 30th.. The studio was well equipped, very clean. We enjoyed the pool, the jacuzzi and the vegetation of the garden.. Which also gives it a special plus.. Hopefully next time we will have the view to the ocean too..

My family and I always enjoy staying at Sunset every time we go to Aruba! It is so relaxing, friendly, casual, clean, conveniently located, and we like having a kitchenette. At least once during our stay we get together with everyone else in the common garden area by the pool and have a cookout of fish and sate (of course with peanut sauce and kroepoek) plus whatever other pot luck dishes people bring. Playing in the pool and relaxing with a cold Balashi in the hot tub are favorites, as well as a short ride up to the best snorkeling place on the island - Catalina Cove. I cannot image staying anywhere else when in Aruba!

We have been going to Aruba for 14 years and have been staying at sunset beach for 7 years. JP, EVE and staff are the best and most helpful people you will ever want to meet. The accommodations and the location is the best if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy. No fuss and no fighting elevators. The best sunsets you will view.

The place was absolutely fabulous with a perfect location. We loved having the communal area to congregate with family and friends to cook dinner and socialize. Couldn’t have asked for a better place and spot for the LAGO reunion. We will see you again in a couple years!

Elena warmly welcomed us upon arrival and was generous with information and offerings. Our studio, number 2, had what we determined as the best location, in the back but with an ocean view and full benefit of the breeze which blew thru the unit. We liked the benefit of the kitchen to cook our own food, the super food market was not too far away (being vegetarian the restaurants, minus Green Food Service in the Orange mall, restaurants offered overpriced poor vegetarian options). The studio was family like, with plenty of privacy and space when you wanted it. We ate most dinners in the common area, at a table with an ocean view, in front of our unit. The bed was very comfortable and the accommodations offered everything we needed. The staff assured we had everything we needed included clean beach and bath towels, sheets and kitchen towels. The location of the studios is the best, a beach right across the street and the best snorkeling just down the road, at Boca Catalina Beach (towards the California lighthouse - in the large home neighborhood, first left). I wish there was more education to tourist about being respectful of the reef (I observed much entitlement and disrespect of nature by the snorkeling tour groups). I would stay here again for sure, as most who we met have. It is definitely a gem in Aruba. The name Sunset Beach is most accurate when nature cooperates, as it did on our first nights stay.

My daughter and I recently returned from a stay at Sunset. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the Garden View Studio. Many nice beaches were nearby. Jacky and Eline were always available and helped with making reservations for a sailboat cruise and jeep tour. We will definitely return in the future with the rest of our family! Thanks for the wonderful memories!

We stayed at Sunset Beach Studios for 6 nights. We had a great time. The bed is huge and comfortable! For your convenience you must rent a car, but it is close to everywhere. The Malmok Beach is great for snorkeling and kite-surfing! I highly recommend it!

This was my 5th time in Aruba and Sunset was my favorite place. It's perfect if you like tranquility, sleep with open windows, hear the wind and waves, it's good for the soul. I enjoyed my outdoor couch and the pool was nice. The personnel was great. When I go back to Aruba I will go back there unless if I move to the island!

We truly enjoyed our stay with you this year. As always the staff at Sunset is out of this world. Always helpful, accommodating and friendly. Hopefully we will be able to come back in 2016.

My girlfriend and I went to Aruba in May 2015 and stayed at Sunset Beach Studios for 10 days. We spent a great time in Aruba and the studio was great. The location of the studios is perfect: 5 minutes from the best place in Aruba to do snorkel (Boca Catalina Beach) and 10 minutes walking to Palm Beach (high rise area). The relation price / quality is outstanding, the place is really clean, the people who run it are really nice and ready to help in everything you need (they booked the car for us and there was a chofer waiting for us at the airport at our arrival!) and the room was really comfortable and well equipped. The jacuzzi was with hot water 24 hours a day, which allowed us to enjoy it till late night, every night. Around sunset time we crossed the street to the ocean and picked sea corals and stones from the beach. Highly recommended!!! we hope to come back soon...

My wife and I along with two other couples decided on a vacation in Aruba. After a bit of searching, we came across Sunset Beach Studios. Having been to Aruba before, my wife and I wanted to avoid the cramped, congested high rise hotel area but still wanted the convenience of beaches, restaurants and night life. Reading the reviews of Sunset Beach Studios, we were hooked – just what we were looking for. Perhaps about a mile from the high rise district. Upon our arrival, we knew our choice was correct. We had Ocean View 2 and how peaceful and relaxing to sit on the porch with morning coffee viewing the beach and ocean. Sometimes three different shades of blue/green at the same time. With a salt water pool, hot tub, and even barbecue facilities, how could we have gone wrong? Not hardly! Our room was always kept spotless and the grounds were neat and clean. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful and in fact, we arranged our car rental, excursions, and dining reservations through them. No problem there either. Having been in Aruba about 11 years ago and having stayed in the high rise area, we were surprised at the increased development over those years. Sunset Beach Studios is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the more congested areas of the island. Hoping very much to return in the future, Sunset Beach Studios is, without question, where we will stay again and would highly recommend to anyone. Enjoy and relax!!

Chose Aruba Sunset Beach based on reviews and I was not disappointed. Laid back and relaxed atmosphere. I had decided that if the customer service I received before arriving in Aruba was great, once I got there it would be exceptional and I was right. We had Garden #6. Room and grounds were very clean, staff very nice and even the resident cats were friendly. AC worked very well. It was nice to be able to sit out and not feel the hassle that I have experienced when staying at larger resorts. This is a great location. Went with a group of friends and we are already planning our next vacation. Wi-Fi was great and my husband even had the pleasure of watching some basketball games on TV. Was able to walk across the street and walk in the ocean and there was a wrecked ship perfect for snorkeling. The layout of the grounds made it possible to gather with friends or to have some alone time at the table provided for your room.

Prior to our arrival at Sunset Beach we were already impressed with how helpful the staff were in providing us with information regarding their property and the area. They helped us with our car rental and gave us advice as to what to expect in Aruba. Upon our arrival they took care of all of our needs. Their friendly staff helped us with Excursions, Dinner Reservations, Area Information, Directions, and anything we needed on their property. It is a beautiful location in a quiet area and very comfortable. I would suggest Sunset Beach to anyone considering a stay in Aruba. We were so impressed that we have already booked time there next year.

Thank you for once again making our spring break visit so pleasant. You made us feel like returning family members with your warm welcome, and our week there was everything we had wished for. There is a charm and quaintness about Sunset Studios that is a refreshing change from the big high rise chain resorts; the comforts and conveniences, however, are just as good as larger hotels. We will look forward to a return visit next year, possibly with other family members and friends, too.

We just recently returned from yet another wonderful stay at Sunset Beach!! We cannot say enough about this great place. We are repeat guests every year and there is no other place on the island that we would want to stay. The owners, JP and Eve, along with all of the staff are just amazing people. So accomodating. Beautiful, well kept, clean and quiet place to stay. Have met many friends here over the years. We are already booked for next year!! Cannot wait!
