We rented an oceanfront room for three days over Old Year's Night and into the new year. The owners, Eve and JP, are very friendly, personable, kind, and run a clean, quaint and charming inn of studio apartments. We were able to see all Palm Beach fireworks from our comfortable, well-appointed porch. We walk everywhere, and this location is about a mile north of the Palm Beach high rise hotels, yet, far more user-friendly, feeling like home, but still accommodated. My husband and I highly recommend, the Aruba Sunset Beach Studios, and will return to stay if the opportunity presents.

JP, Eve and Jackie are some of the friendliest people I've met! They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious and all have king size beds. There is a common area to BBQ as well as just relax. The grounds are well taken care of and very beautiful. We stayed for 6 nights and then had to move as they were booked for the length of time we needed. At our new place we didn't have an element to cook on and so asked Eve if they had an extra one could we rent one from them? She immediately got on the phone and JP came over with a brand new cook top! And just politely asked that we return it. So nice! We watched the fireworks New Years on the beach across the street and were simply amazed! I'm sure we had the best view on the island! Have never experienced anything like that in my life! All in all a big for sunset beach and the staff!

You haven't experienced New Years until you spend it here in Aruba. At Sunset Beach Studio apartments, you are a few feet from the Caribbean and you are in the perfect location to watch the fireworks across the island but the highlight is the amazing show put on by the high rise hotels. It is absolutely breathtaking. Everyone in Aruba gets into the spirit and the fireworks start very early and keep on going until way past midnight!! People fill the beach in front of the apartments to watch the amazing show across the water. Even the folks on the beach bring huge amounts of fireworks to share. Being so close to the water allowed us to watch the sunset every day and relax and enjoy our visit in our very comfortable surroundings. The studios are very nice, well kept and the staff and surroundings are excellent! This is an easy place to get to, has beautiful surroundings and is a great way to relax and enjoy a vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Studios over Christmas Break. My husband & I stayed in Ocean 2, and our teenage kids stayed in Garden 7 & 8, right near the pool. We have been to Aruba before, and have stayed at the Hyatt and the Holiday Inn. Sunset Studios was a much better value given our large family (6). We come to Aruba for the kiteboarding and windsurfing, and Sunsets location is just minutes from the fisherman's huts where we rent equipment from Aruba Active Vacations. Great snorkeling right across from our deck, beautiful Arashi Beach just a quick car or bike ride to the north, and the Ritz Carlton and other high rise hotels another quick ride or walk to the south. It is so nice to park your car right in front of your room - no elevators or weaving through the corridors of a large hotel. Cozy garden and pool area was very peaceful and relaxing. We watched the sunset every evening from our covered porch. The kids loved biking to the Pelican Peer for great wings & burgers. Hubby & I enjoyed happy hour at Moomba Bar, near the Holiday Inn. The entire staff was friendly and very accommodating. JP the owner was always available to answer any questions, and he provided lots of good information on activities and restaurants (better than a concierge). Sunrise Studios feels like home - we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Aruba sunset beach studios for 2 weeks. A lovely place with a cozy garden and pool area . Great location at Malmok beach, a 2 1/2 min. drive to Arashi Beach, the best beach in Aruba! (According to all the locals!) Awesome sunsets across the Street. Clean and comfortable studios. Owner and Staff are Very friendly and serviceminded! Helped us with a rental car upon arrival and grocery shopping for a small fee since we had a late arrival. Much appreciated! We just spent 10 glorious days in Aruba at Sunset Beach Studios. Such a lovely spot away from the busy high rise area and so quiet! We used our fully stocked kitchenette and the shared barbecue to cook many of our meals. As it was such a peaceful spot we didn't want to leave to go out! One mile walk to the busy area is close enough. We loved our own private outdoor sitting area with a table/chairs, comfy chair and couch. The gardens around Sunset are gorgeous with something blooming all the time. Our room was clean and inviting and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a lovely vacation! We hope to return.

Another Great Visit at Sunset Studios. I think this is my 4th time staying at Sunset, I just love the place that much. The mornings are so gorgeous, you can walk across the street and sit on the little bench and watch the colors of Aruba come alive. Sunsets are simply spectacular and many of the guests go across the street with a drink and enjoy the sunset and each other's company. The rooms are always kept very clean, the reception staff are very nice and accommodating, and the location is convenient yet private. I enjoy the other travelers, we are usually a group of people who like to avoid the crowds and the show of the high rises, preferring a more laid back and relaxing time. Very good restaurants are nearby, a great grocery store, and if you want to get into the crowds they are not very far off. The rates here are so reasonable they make a 10 day stay possible for me. I encourage you to get off the beaten path if you are the type who likes the road less traveled. Of utmost concern to me is safety as I traveled alone, and I felt very safe here and always do. Thank you for another great visit. I miss Aruba so much!

Tiene todo lo que se requiere para pasar una buena noche, los administradores son muy amables y atentos a ayudar, nos fue muy bien, cuando llegamos la habitación estaba impecable, nos ayudaron con la reserva del renta car, muy fácil llegar y su localización ayudar para llegar a cualquier parte, recomiendo rentar un vehículo para poder visitar toda la isla, podrían mejorar en el aseo diario. Pasamos unas gratas vacaciones.

This was our first stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. There are several small units surrounding a pool and garden blooming with flowers. Each unit has a small kitchenette and air conditioning. The rooms are clean and the king size bed is awesome. The studios have hot water and a small outdoor patio with table and chairs. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets! If you like quiet and quaint, this is a real gem! Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

En weer een heerlijke tijd gehad bij JP en Eef. Nu in de grote oceanview. Heerlijk uitgerust, veel gelezen. Lekker gegeten bij Gasparito (een aanrader!), Bingo en Moomba. Ongeveer de 9e keer hier en komen volgend jaar zeker weer terug. Masha Danki!

If you looking for all inclusive, room service and closeness to party zones this hotel is definitely not for you. But if you want peace and quiet, nice view over the sunsets from your own "terass" with an optional glass of wine (your own bought), closeness to the ocean, nice rooms and a small but very useful cooking place. Really nice and helpful personal, nice outdoor area this is really a place for you. One thing is that you may need a rental car for your own convenience to get to supermarkets and restaurants etc. But there are local buses just outside as well. Me and my wife really enjoyed the stay.

Just returned from 10 days at Sunset Beach Studios and look froward to returning! We had an ocean view suite and loved waking up and looking out over the ocean. The resort is welcoming and relaxed, very quiet and peaceful. We enjoy dinner out and casino at the high rises where it is busy but enjoy the peace of our own studio apartment. The gardens are beautiful and it is well kept and clean. The pool and hot-tub are nice after a hot day out exploring beaches as well. A nice touch is the laundry service, very reasonable, done that day folded and returned to your room. We were able to pack a bit more lightly. Plus you can swap out for clean beach towels/bath towels when you need to - you don't have to leave your room key like at the all-inclusives. They trust you not to steal them. :)

My wife and I recently spent 3 weeks in Aruba. One week was spent at the Marriott Surf Club and two weeks at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. Based on the fact we stayed at both places, we can honestly say our preferred home base for our stay in Aruba was the tranquility and relaxed friendly atmosphere at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. It was a real pleasure to interact with the owners and the office staff from the initial booking with answers to all my questions to the “Goodbye Hug” at the end of our trip. Unfortunately, the owners JP and Eve were off on their own vacation the day after we met them so we didn’t have the opportunity to interact with them during our stay. After meeting Jacky and Suzanne the office staff, we quickly realized JP and Eve left Sunset Studios in very capable hands. It didn’t matter what our request or question was, from renting a car, to comments on restaurants or just a friendly chat, Jacky and Suzanne were a real pleasure to talk to. Everyone we ran into from the other guests (many of them are return customers to Sunset Studios), to the office staff or the cleaning staff were very accommodating and friendly. The individual units are clean and comfortable, and the view of the ocean across the street was amazing! My wife and I would not hesitate for a second in recommending a stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios to anyone looking for a nice, clean relaxed place to stay while in Aruba. We had a wonderful stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. The view from our ocean view studio was amazing! The studio had all that we needed, including a large fridge and kitchenette. It's located in a quiet area, directly opposite to the sea, and a short drive to the high rise hotels, supermarkets and Oranjestad. We live loved also the beautiful garden with pool and Jacuzzi. Highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect & even better then I had imagined! And biggest additional plus to this beautiful hotel are the people who work or own this place. They are very professional, pleasant & helpful with any small issues needed to resolved. There were no big issues - they are just perfect! I will recommend this hotel to my friends, family & co-workers in a heartbeat!

Wat een warm welkom (letterlijk en figuurlijk), het begint met een persoonlijk welkomsbordje op je deur. In onze studio was alles wat we nodig hadden. Op het complex hangt een huiselijke sfeer, alles is aanwezig om je verblijf comfortabel te maken. Ook de aandacht van al het personeel is TOP. Het enige wat je echt nodig hebt is een auto om naar het strand te kunnen gaan, alhoewel er een bushalte voor de deur is. Maar een auto is sowieso handig op Aruba. This was our 3rd stay @ Aruba Sunset Beach Studios & it was just as great as our previous stays. JP & Eve are quite accommodating w/ all of our vacation needs. The cleanliness & location of this charming property are superb. If small & friendly accommodations are @ the top of your list, this is the place. We look forward to returning.

We had our first visit to Aruba last week! Sunset Beach Studios was perfect. We rented the Large Ocean View Studio. Clean, comfortable, AC and a great view across the street. We didn't want to do an all-inclusive here because we heard that it was a safe and friendly island, which does mean you have to fend for yourself, but it was easy. Our room had a full kitchen with plenty of pots, plates, cups etc. Great grocery about a mile away. We took a couple dips in the pool out back/ very nice! You can snorkel across the street but you must wear water shoes because of coral and sea urchins hiding. A short drive north and you can choose other beaches. So nice to just pull in wherever you want and check it out. We drove south about 50 minutes to Baby Beach. That was nice and there is a restaurant there. We also went to the beach across from Divi resort. That was beautiful!! I would recommend the Around Aruba Tours UTV ride to see the other desert parts of the island. Sunset Beach Studios was the perfect place to relax and chill away from all the hotels, but just a short drive if you wanted that scene.
