My husband and I stayed for a week over Thanksgiving on a joint vacation with another couple. Staying here is like staying with family... Every need is met. In your room there are reusable grocery bags for shopping, outlet adapters for EU, folding camp chairs for the beach and even a good size cooler with blue ice in the freezer!!! The studio kitchen was well equipped for all our meal making needs. Snorkeling equipment is available and they will even tell you about great little spots to snorkel close by. We can't say enough about the owners JP and Eve. Everyday they stopped to ask how everything was, did we need anything, recommended places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. These were not cursory stops but genuine and caring. Trust JP for kite- and windsurfing tips and instruction. Our kitesurfer friend even benefited from his knowledge. Wonderful Marit helped us with general information as well as arranging our ATV and National Park tours. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating under the breezy palapa. A great place to spend time with owners and Marit as well as meeting the other guests. If you want a friendly, comfortable and relaxing vacation....look no further....this IS the place!!!

Just what I wanted and needed! I spent 6 nights at this property, to put it simply it was just what I wanted and needed. I stayed in the oceanfront studio. If you are looking for a comfortable stay away from the clusters of hotels and restaurants but with easy access to those things and more, this is the place for you. I rented a car and I was easily able to navigate the north part of the island and made it to the south with ease as well. The owners are lovely and provide a warm welcome and all of the necessary information before your stay. Access to the ocean is across the street from the property and is a great place for sunsets or a place to collect seashells and fossils (which you cannot take home:)

Always Awesome!!! AAA+ We have stayed at Sunset Beach Studios several times and have always been pleased.. JP and Eve are so accommodating.. They have recently completed upgrades and the place is better than ever.. Had an ocean view this stay and enjoyed sitting out for breakfast looking at the beautiful ocean. Don’t hesitate to stay here.. Will be going back for years to come.

Fantastic place right on the beach! We truly enjoyed the apartment. We had the beach-front unit which was spacious, had all the amenities necessary and a view you could wake up to any day of the year. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. We would come here any time while visiting Aruba.

Wir waren drei Wochen in Aruba und da wir das unabhängige Reisen bevorzugen, haben wir uns ein Appartement bei Eve & JP gebucht. Diese Unterkunft ist ein richtiges Juwel und wir konnten uns super erholen. Die Zimmer sind funktional und ausreichend ausgestattet, die ganze Anlage sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wünsche und Bedürfnisse werden wenn immer möglich erfüllt. Solche Gastgeber wünscht man sich auf allen Reisen!! Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig. Man muss nur die Strasse (nicht stark befahren) überqueren und ist direkt am Meer. Super zum Schnorcheln oder um den Sonnenuntergang zu geniessen. Aruba Sunset Beach Studios sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

I had such a wonderful time staying here. While the views from the studio are perfect, the hospitality from JP, Eve and the staff was something that made my stay that much more special. You've created a wonderful oasis on this beautiful island. THANK YOU!!!

My husband and I stayed at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios during COVID after sheltering in place for 8 months dealing with health issues. We were looking for a relaxing, friendly, safe place to "get away from it all" for a week. Sunset Beach Studios was absolutely perfect! The location is convenient but away from the resorts and congestion. The beaches are within walking distance and the sunsets out the front door are beautiful! The self-catering studios are just enough to get by to avoid having to eat at restaurants for every meal. The hosts, JP and Eve...and Marit and Iris, were so helpful, amiable, and supportive of a couple of old folks just trying to have a relaxing vacation. They told us where to go for good eats, snorkeling, and excursions. They were always available if necessary but respected our privacy and quiet time. I highly recommend Aruba Sunset Beach Studios for anyone that is looking for a laid back, casual, but very suitable place to stay. We will be back!

My partner and I just spent a week at the Aruba Sunset Beach Studios and could not have been more pleased. JP and Eve are fantastic hosts and the property is exactly what we were looking for. We travel throughout the tropics extensively so we know what we are looking for, and this place ticked all of our boxes. We stayed in the Large Ocean Front Studio, and it was the right choice for us. This is what we look for (and got!) *Water front. Yep, 50 yards from the front door. Not a sandy beach here, but easy water access. Plenty of sandy choices within walking distance. * Good snorkeling. Not only is there a wreck to snorkel right out front 100 yards out in 8 feet of water, but 75% of the best shore snorkeling spots on the island are all within a 5 minute drive. * Indoor/outdoor living. The studio has a huge shaded front terrace looking right at the beach, multiple sliding doors open the entire studio to terrace giving it that airy indoor outdoor feel we always look for. * Clean and comfortable. The space was super clean and well maintained. The studio was huge, with 2 different indoor seating areas, very comfortable king size bed, fully equipped, spacious kitchen, ample storage, big bathroom and shower with lots of hot water, and excellent air conditioner. * Convenient. The biggest and best grocery store on the island is 5 minutes away making self catering fun and easy. Don't want to cook? Some of the best "local" restaurants are also nearby. * Value. Frankly. at this price point I was shocked at the quality of the accommodations. If you want beaches with rows of lounge chairs and cocktail service with lots of people to watch, be immersed in the night life of Aruba, sip cocktails to the constant thumping of the DJ's, shop at the name brand stores and eat at the trendy tourist spots, keep looking, this is not for you. If you want beauty, peace and quite, super friendly vibes and abundant uncrowded opportunities to enjoy water based activities, then stop looking and just book it right now!

We did some wonderful things: scuba dived wrecks and reefs with Aqua Windie’s, went to Zeerover and with a 4x4 to the Natural Pool, the Natural Park, Caves, Natural Bridges, Wish Rock Garden and Frenchmen’s Pass. Little things that mattered: BBQ fish, fried plantains, sharing meal and drinks and stories of skiing in Utah with JP and Raul. We usually stay at the Hi-Rise hotel time share but next time we’ll book 2-4 weeks HERE!!! Thank you Eef, JP + Edna!!! Kim and Josh from California, USA

Amazing Place, Amazing Porch, Great Hospitality! We stayed at the large ocean view room for 2 weeks and had a fantastic stay. Sitting at the porch admiring the sea is incredibly relaxing. We had all our meals there and since I had to work a couple of days while in Aruba I also set my "office" on the porch. The studio is very well appointed. Lots of space and all the kitchen tools you need to cook a nice meal (we cooked quite a bit in the kitchen and also used the gas grill in the common patio). You can walk from the studios to Malmok beach (a small cove with great snorkeling) and you can even just walk out into the sea by crossing the street! It's not a beach but with water shoes and snorkel gear you can go explore the wreck you can see from the porch. We were learning kite-surfing during our trip and the kiting beach is just a 10 min walk away with Palm Beach just another 5 - 8 mins further south. Eve, JP, Marit and the whole team were incredibly helpful when booking tours and giving us tips. We even got to spend some quality time with Rusty Jr. their friendly cat who brought us a small dead lizard as a hospitality gift. We could not recommend this place more. Kevin & Aneliya

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset recently. We chose to stay here as our own home in Aruba was rented out for 4 days. I own a home here since 2000, and have been enjoying morning runs along Malmok since then. I ran past Aruba Sunset Beach Studios nearly every day, and always noticed them, thinking what a nice place it would be to stay - and it ended up exceeding my expectations! Eve, JP, and Marit were all absolutely wonderful for all of their help, advice, and chatting about Aruba. We are so happy to have met them! They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The rooms are completely equipped with everything you need, including a full size kitchen fridge and capabilities for cooking both in the kitchen and on the outdoor grill. In fact we cooked in every night, and enjoyed sitting out in the garden under the stars, enjoying the quiet, nice food, and wine. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the king bed super comfortable. The location is truly amazing to get up every morning, walk out the door and step to the ocean just a few steps away. And the beautiful sunsets - we also watched the sunset every night either from our covered porch or just steps away at the ocean. Absolutely highly recommend to stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios, you will love it!

First of all, Marit, Eve & JP were all fantastic for the help, advice, or random chat. Marit took care of all of our booking needs. Car/taxi, sailing trips, ATV tour, in room massage. It was a big help knowing she could arrange all this so we could enjoy ourselves. The apartment was perfect and comfortable. Ocean 2. I could live there. I loved the porch, sitting out with a beer, watching the sunset over the ocean after a long day at the beach and a shower. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom immaculate with a giant walk in shower. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed and more. Studio did not make us feel cramped, even when we had rest days from getting too much sun. (Fair skinned!) Location was perfect. In the middle of all these great beaches, walking distance to some if you wanted to have a few drinks, or a short drive from the northern beaches. Would definitely recommend renting a car. Just for the sake of exploring, grocery, and getting around the whole island. I spent a lot of time looking into hotels / apartments. Was glad we decided to stay here.

Hidden Gem Wow..... if you’re looking to get away from the crowds this hidden gem is one to try. I only stayed one night prior to the start of my timeshare and they graciously accommodated me. What a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with an uncrowded beach just steps away. The owners and staff are very welcoming and ensure all is well with your stay. Just relaxing on my private lounge area watching the sunset with a cold Balashi and cigar was everything. In the future I will add some nights to my annual trip to wind down before returning home.

From the arrival greeting to our departure, our week at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios was perfect. The rooms are equipped with everything you might possibly need and the location couldn't be better if you want something a little more chill than hotel row. It is walk-able to some of the best beaches on the island and the views are beautiful. We really enjoyed having the pool and Jacuzzi to enjoy after coming in from the beach each day. The Jacuzzi and lounge chairs were the perfect place to watch the stars each night. Eve, JP, and Marit were wonderful hosts and full of helpful recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to all of our friends!

C'est un endruit calme, propre et serein où l'on peut profiter du bel air. La femme de chambre fait également un travail remarquable. Nous n'avions pas pu demander mieux comme endruit pour souligner notre 2ème anniversaire de mariage. We stayed eight relaxing nights at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. Hosts and team were spot on and went out of their way to make our anniversary/birthday celebrations special! This was the perfect place for us! Clean, full-sized kitchen appliances, beautifully upgraded bath, comfy bed and sitting area. We used the refreshing pool after days on the beach, and the grill for a stay-in dinner. Eve, JP, Marit and team were so accommodating and helpful, providing us with island info. Location is convenient to EVERYTHING! Just a few minutes from best beach (Arashi), best snorkeling (Boca Catalina), and best kite/wind surfing on the island. If you like your own quiet space with an amazing view of the turquoise waters, this is your home away from home! We also felt very safe on the island during the COVID-19 pandemic, with hand sanitizing/washing required before entering each business, employees at businesses wearing masks, social distancing, and stringent entry requirements for visiting the island. The tourist level when we visited was low (15% of normal) so the restaurants and beaches were wide open. It's a great time to visit Aruba!!!

We spent over 62 days with these outstanding studio units. Located directly across from the warm gentle sea and able to watch the sunsets daily. Most importantly, the Staff and fellow guests were friendly, amiably and fun. I fully intend to return next year-(2021).

If you care about luxury, stop reading. If you don't, this is your place! We just came back from 10 days at Sunset and we could not have had a better time. The place is comfortable, clean, spacious and welcoming (grill and Jacuzzi a plus). We went to Aruba to kite, and to our surprise we found out that our hosts, JP and Eve, are kiters too! What a treat. We even tried kite foiling together in front of the studios. We now have new friends and a place to come back to. Thank you for a wonderful time :)
