Sunset Beach Studios is the place to stay in Aruba. We have just arrived home after a wonderful 2 weeks at Sunset Beach Studios. Our stay there was just as wonderful this year as in the previous years. Words cannot express how much we enjoy Sunset Beach. The owner and staff treat you just like you are family and problems are unheard of. Our room was immaculate and you can decide whether or not you would like it cleaned every day, just get clean towels, or just put the do not disturb sign up and wait until another day to have your room cleaned. The property is beautifully kept and the pool is always clean and inviting. Afternoons under the tiki hut are especially fun since a lot of the other guests gather there for afternoon refreshments and lively chatter. We are close to wonderful snorkeling and swimming (walking distance) and also the high rise area where restaurants and nightlife are located. If you want to stay in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere Sunset Beach Studios is just what the doctor ordered. Our thanks to all of the staff at Sunset Beach and also to JP (owner) who visited almost every day with a smile on his face and always had time to chat with the guests. You will definitely not want to stay anywhere else after you have stayed at Sunset Beach Studios. Again, thanks to everyone at Sunset Beach Studios and we will see you in the years to come.

The stay at Sunset Beach Studios has been just wonderful. The staff is amazing; very friendly and courteous. The location is perfect; right within walking distance to some of the popula beaches. The property if very clean and well-maintained. The cleaning crew is great; always took care of our need without any problems. Always had fresh towels. I would certainly recommend this property for whoever is looking for a relaxed atmosphere without the large crowds. Overall, we have been very pleased and that's why we keep returning year after year. Thanks Sunset Beach Studios!!

Great getaway! Great place to go on Aruba if you want to be right at the beach but not in the high-rise combat zone. Right across the street from the beach. The street is the island's main road, so it can be busy. Rent a car to get to towns, restaurants, stores, casinos which are to the south a mile or more, and the most beautiful and uncrowded beaches are to the North a few miles. Lovely pool, jacuzzi, GREAT PEOPLE!!!!

We stayed at the sunset beaches studios and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. The studio was very cleaned and nice ... We was there May of this year 2010 and we coming back after the holidays we go for a week and have a great time. Most important the staff was great took great care of everything great location and very quiet and relaxing place .......... Thanks sunset beach for your caring and kindness during our vacation

From a lodging and accommodations standpoint, one of the best developments on Aruba took place about 14 years ago when J.P. and Eef van den Eerenbeemt bought the old Boulevards property and began renovating it for their family home and as studio apartments for friends and guests. Now known as Sunset Studios and still owned/operated by J.P. & Eef, the entire property is available for rentals to visitors who want to be right on the beautiful western-facing beach along the northern end of the island but who want something other than the high-rise and time-share craziness and congestion of Palm Beach or Eagle Beach. Located in Malmok neighborhood, just north of Fishermen?s Huts and before Arashi and the California lighthouse, Sunset Studios has a laid-back island feel in a garden setting with loyal clientele from all over the globe who appreciate a cozy, clean, secure and comfortable apartment rental that has friendly staff, is well run and reasonably priced. For the windsurfers who want the convenience of a beach launch (right out front!) for their own gear or who want access to the best rental gear and professional instruction in the world at the Huts, Sunset Studios can?t be beat. On my most recent visit (June 2010), I stayed in the Ocean View studio #8 for 2 weeks. JP and his wonderful staff went out of their way to make the time enjoyable in every way. Special thanks to JP for loaning me some of his personal "secret gear" on those (unusual!!) light wind days during the first week when my stuff was too small. Special "dankis" also to Sarah and Monique in the office for keeping everything running smoothly -- rain or shine. Martha was sad she could not come on this visit, but we will both be back next summer for more great times in Aruba, thanks in large part to Sunset Studios.

This was my 6th time to Aruba and my first time staying at the Sunset Beach Studios. We were impressed with the friendly staff and location. We windsurfed most of the time at Aruba Active Vacations and found them to be perfect for our needs. I highly recommend these studio apartments.

I've been to Aruba more than 10 times now, and after staying in several locations, I really prefer the Sunset Beach Studios. Nice and quiet spot, friendly people. Always great to watch the stars at night while sitting in the hot tub, there are nice small beaches at close range but above all, the daily sunsets. I prefer the beach front studios and then there is no need to go out for dinner. Just enjoying dinner at my own porch while the sun sets makes Aruba the real 'One Happy Island' for me.

October 2008 What a wonderful vacation. Thank you Monique, Flores, Sarah and JP for all you do to make our stay perfect. We always stay in #10 and love it, the sunset's are beautiful and a perfect veiw from our veranda. If you are planning a trip to Aruba and looking to get away from the bustle of the hi rises, Susnet Beach is perfect. The bus goes right by and makes stops at hi rises, grocery stores and downtown Oranjestad. We rent a car so we can travel to all the different beautiful beaches and of course to the wonderful restuarants all over the island. I have visited Aruba since I was a child. I thought that I had known almost everything about places to visit (including beaches) and where to stay. Because of many reasons I chose to stay at Sunset Beach Studios. I had doubts, since it would be my first time out of the high side hotels. I was looking a quiet and relaxing place with privacy and very comfortable? When I read the reviews of some guests on Internet, just one said something wrong and I didn?t pay attention to that because it was an anonymous letter. Something told me that it would be the right place, but? I was not sure. Everyone said that it had been great and it had been like their home in Aruba. I thought that they were just words. Today, I can say that Sunset Beach Studios will be the place where I will stay in Aruba next time. Monique, Aida, Flores, Carlos and his son, Sarah and JP are very friendly and don?t lose any chance to help you or to see how to improve your stay there. Thank you so much to all of you. The place is very clean, including room, jacuzzi, swimming pool, patio, corridor and every where. If you don?t like to move in bus, so then you need to rent a car, but also they help you to find the better one according to your budget. They are ready to help you with every detail.

We had a great second stay at Sunset Beach Studios. We loved our view and close proximity to the great Snorkel beaches. Thank you to Monique and Sara who helped us sort a few things out. We can't wait to stay again! Elis

For the second time and with a great pleasure we stayed at the Sunset Beach Studios. We very much appreciated the quality of the welcome, the efficiency and the kindness of the staff, always ready to help everyone with whatever problems. Besides,this hotel is really like your second home. Its location is fabulous next to the most beautiful Aruba beach, without forgetting its dazzling and wonderful everyday sunset. In a word, as a tour operator, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

This is our new home away-from-home while in Aruba. The staff and owners successfully manage their business while making their guests feel relaxed and at home. We found it to be an excellent value and fully expect to return. Thanks!

We just got back from Aruba ( Feb 2). We spent our last weeek at Sunset Beach Studios and it was the most relaxing time for us. The weather & sunsets were beautiful and our unit very comfortable esp the deck for eating and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and helpful and keep the gardens beautiful. Looking forward to next year already, can't wait to go back.

Seeing as this trip was entirely last minute and I knew absolutely nothing about Aruba prior to booking this holiday, I really lucked out here. This was brilliant! Close to the calmer beaches and far enough away from the high rise resorts as to not feel intimidated as a solo traveler- it was quiet and relaxing- everything I was hoping for! Sunset Beach Studios was our home away from home for two weeks during the 2007 Christmas and New Year's season. We always look forward to returning to our little place in paradise. The laid back, easygoing atmosphere provides a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation opportunity. This property is attractive, clean, and expertly managed. The owners and staff always make us feel welcome and like part of the family. We always enjoy meeting and making new friends during our stay at Sunset Beach Studios. It is easy to strike up a conversation around the pool, hot tub or under the big palapa. We look forward to returning to Aruba and Sunset Beach Studios.

Since we discovered Sunset Apartments in 2003 we have returned each year. We find Sunset to be serene and relaxing. The owners and staff are accommodating, friendly and professional. The apartments are well maintained and clean. Sunset is within walking distance to the windsurf rental area at Fishermen?s Huts and the snorkel areas toward the lighthouse. Sunset Apartments provide a vantage point for watching the beautiful Aruba sunsets from the natural beach. Many of the guests we meet at Sunset are repeat visitors. We look forward to seeing them with each visit. Sunset Apartments makes the island of Aruba our vacation paradise.

Fantastic place! I stayed here during the winter of 2007 with my mother and aunt, and loved it so much that I came back in the early spring with my husband. The location is perfect, the rates reasonable, the rooms spotless, and the staff are super-friendly and helpful. The flowering plants on the grounds are beautiful and you can watch the pelicans diving into the ocean for fish while eating breakfast on the patio. The studio kitchens have absolutely everything. The huge beach towels are great and can be traded in for fresh ones each day. There is even a drying rack outside for swimwear. There is ample parking here and at all the beaches nearby. It is possible to walk, but it's easier just to jump in a car in bathing suits, wrapped in a towel, than to lug snorkel gear etc. around in the hot sun. We loved the north of the island for its quieter beaches and great snorkeling. I find Palm Beach to be a complete zoo. It's nice to be nearby to pop in for a coffee or dinner, but I can't understand why anyone would want to spend their vacation in such a noisy, crowded area, when paradise is just a couple of minutes up the road.
