Just completed a week stay at this quaint little resort and had a great stay. The people here are very friendly. We stayed in Garden room 7 for 5 nights and Large Ocean 1 for the other 2 nights. Although the Large Ocean 1 is much larger, we actually enjoyed Garden 7 due to the fact we could open the windows in the front and rear and have a nice breeze blowing through the room all night. The sunsets right in front of the complex are amazing and we were able to walk along the ocean every morning!

We always enjoy our stay at Sunset Beach Studios--very relaxing setting, away from the high rise hotels and crowds. J.P. and Eve, the owners, are on site daily to make sure things are going well. I'm hesitant to write a positive review because I don't want to have to battle other people for a room in the future!

Prima verblijf gehad in Sunset Beach Studios. De Garden studio's zijn eenvoudig ingericht. De internetverbinding was helaas niet altijd optimaal. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vlakbij mooie stranden en Palm Beach (voor uitgaansmogelijkheden).

Great accommodations and more importantly terrific people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay AND are looking forward to our next stay at Sunset Beach Studios!!!! Great place to stay if your looking for a clean room at an affordable price.

We stayed at Sunset Beach Studios for four nights at the end of January. What a fantastic find! Many of the guests were repeat visitors and/or were staying for several weeks or a few months there. The guests frequently congregated in the outside common areas, chitchatting, checking e-mail, reading, surfing the web or just relaxing. Several of the guests went out of their way to make us feel welcome and invited us to socialize with them. In the evening, several guests get together in the common area for happy hour, bringing drinks and hors d'oeuvres. It felt like a large extended family. What a welcoming environment! Bianca, who works in the front office, is an incredible people person. The rooms come with signs to put on the door when you want housekeeping to clean the room. This worked out really well, and we never had to wait for the housekeeping people to finish cleaning our studio. There is a nice shoulder on the side of the road and paths along the beach if you want to walk/run/ride a bike. Shops and restaurants are a few minutes' drive by car. The studios are located in a residential area. Sunset Beach Studios is a real gem!

We had a wonderful time and would stay at Sunset Beach again. Everything is clean and the location is perfect. It is away from the crowds but close enough to walk if you are in the mood for a faster paced day or evening. We met lots of people and enjoyed our evenings having a cocktail and sharing what everyone did during their day. Everything you need is there - coolers, beach chairs, towels, snorkeling stuff. Loved it.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a 2 week vacation at Sunset Beach Studios (Dec. 27 2013 to Jan 10 2014). The location is perfect, directly across the street from the ocean on the way to the lighthouse. Close to shopping and nightlife but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The pool is clean and never crowded. The units are clean and comfortable with mini kitchens. We enjoyed many evenings under the thatched roof of the common area talking, laughing and making new friends. The owners are available if needed and the office staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests we made. This was our 5th trip to Aruba together and we have stayed at different places each time. Sunset Beach Aruba ranks right up there with the best of them.

We stayed in the Large Oceanfront last year and loved it, but with all the different places to stay, we went to another place up by Boca Catalina and were very disappointed. It was our anniversary on December 4th, and we went to Sunset Beach to see if maybe they had an opening. They did and we loved the Large Garden 2 studio even more than the unit last year. They saved our vacation for us! We only had 3 nights left to spend there but they were the best 3 nights of our 10 night vacation. They are so friendly and welcoming there, and after our bad experience up the road, it was heaven. For example, we had chose to stay elsewhere and came begging for a room last minute, and they still sent us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! How nice is that? Most businesses would not be that nice to you when you are just a last minute guest. They have a very nice pool area that is heaven to dip in after being on the beach all day, very nice updated loungers with thick cushions, and they have new roofs on most of the buildings. You can tell they care about their resort and their customers, and the upkeep is great. This resort is very affordable and you cannot find the service they give even in the expensive places where everyone looks stressed. This is laid back with an island feel, if you are not someone who needs Marriott amenities and are looking for a more unique island feel, you will love it here. We have decided we will not go anywhere else, and we have stayed at the Marriott, the Holiday Inn many years ago, the Divi Phoenix and a villa near Boca Catalina -- none compare to the relaxed, friendly staff and quaint, personal touches that abound at Sunset Beach. For us, it's perfection!!

Wij kijken terug op een super verblijf op Aruba mede dankzij ons verblijf op sunset! Alles tot in de puntjes geregeld en altijd welkom voor vragen. Sunset Beach was recommended by friends who were also raised in Lago Colony when our parents were employed at the refinery. Our visit far exceeded any expectations we imagined. Climbing the steps to Ocean View 2 proved to be quite challenging using the walker. VOILA; Upon returning from a tour of the island, steps had been replaced by a ramp. While sitting on the veranda overlooking the ocean reminiscing about camping on Palm Beach prior to any hotels being built, daughter and eight year old granddaughter were enjoying the pool outside their Garden View Studio. Once out of the pool, towels were exchanged at no charge for the next trip to the beach. While renting the beach chairs and snorkeling gear from Sunset was easy, climbing into the rented Jeep without the loan of a stepping stool from the office was impossible. A simple thank you seems hardly enough for all the amenities provided by owners and staff of Sunset, but: Thank you for your suggestions regarding restaurants, beaches,fishing,etc. Thank you for providing a home atmosphere. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Thank you for being there.

A warm personal welcome, was the perfect start. We stayed for a good 7 nights at OCEAN 1 and could not have chosen a better location and appartement for our vacation stay. Brabant staat synoniem voor "gastvrijheid".Dit bleek ook bij de Sunset Beach Studio's waar de Brabanders Eve en JP de scepter zwaaien. Ik heb genoten van de gezellige en comfortabele studio te midden van zon,zee en strand. De studio's heb ik inmiddels aanbevolen bij vrienden en kennissen als de place to be...Nogmaals bedankt voor de geweldige service.

This was our first trip to beautiful Aruba! We could not have been happier with our room at Sunset as well as how friendly everyone was there. The peaceful nature of the studios was wonderful. The view from our front porch was breathtaking and I couldn't wait to wake up and enjoy coffee on the front porch! My brother was staying at the Marriot Surf Club just down the road and while visiting I couldn't wait to return to our room! I'm not a fan of large crowds of people! The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Thanks again for everything and hope to visit again soon!! Take care :)

Bedankt voor de fijne tijd in Sunset Beach. De beste keus, een goed verzorgde omgeving en vriendelijk personeel. Reeds bij aankomst was de ontvangst goed, de rest van de vakantie daar hebben we geen woorden voor. Aruba is absoluut een PARADIJS! N.B. JP nog bedankt voor transport naar de supermarkt op de allereerste dag.

Een ontzettende geweldige ervaring! Heerlijke rust en toch dicht bij alle 'hotspots'. Lekker genoten van het zwembad, de jacuzzi en ons 'private' snorkelstukje door alleen maar even de weg over te steken :-) Bedankt voor alle hulp, ook namens de rest van de familie!

Waren voor het eerst op Aruba en al bij de reserveringen kreeg ik al een vermoeden wat ik kon verwachten van het verblijf in Sunset Beach Studios. De ongevraagde maar zeer gewardeerde adviezen vooraf beloofden wat. En de verwachtingen kwamen uit, de gastvrijheid waarmee we werden ontvangen, de studios, de tuin de omgeving en bovenal de prijs hebben mede ertoe bijgedragen dat we een onvergetelijke vakantie hebben gehad. Eef, Bianca, Aida, JP en de anderen nog hartelijk bedankt.

Thanks so much!! We have enjoyed our stay. We wished we could stay more days but duty calls and it's back to reality on Monday. We still have lots to see in Aruba and my friend and I will come back, hopefully next year. Best Regards and Best Wishes.

Net terug uit Aruba. Ons verblijf van 2 weken bij Sunset Beach Studio's was in een woord geweldig. De locatie van Sunset is top, rustig gelegen en toch alles direct in de buurt zoals de mooiste stranden, supermarkt en uitgaansgelegenheden. Dus wel de voordelen maar niet de nadelen. De studio's zijn schoon en goed uitgerust en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam als je vragen hebt of tips wil over het eiland. Iedereen van Sunset bedankt voor de heerlijke 2 weken!!!!

We enjoyed our stay so much,that even before our vacation was over, we both were planing another stay. I was especially thrilled at the beauty of the garden, the way the grounds are designed, gives the feeling of being in a private luxury villa (even when all the studios are full). We loved the generosity, and attention put into every detail designed to make you fully enjoy yourself. There are big fluffy beach towels, amazing outdoor grills,as well as VERY clean rooms,that have every kitchen utensil I could have ever needed. There is even a large collection of books that are there for guests to read while relaxing by the pool. Even as we were checking out and preparing to return home, we were given magazines to read on the plane. We will certainly be back!!!

Dear Eve and JP, Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary so special. The champagne was awesome and the flowers and card was beautiful. Our 2 weeks at Sunset were just amazing, beautiful sunsets, amazing people, beautiful beaches. Another wonderful year of amazing memories we have made... Again Thank You both and also your staff who took very good care of us also. Everyone of you we love and think of you all just like family and miss you already. We will see you again next year...
