The second time we visited Sunset Beach Studios and what a nice place it is. If you look for a more intimate atmosphere compared to the high rise hotels, this is the place to be. Nice studios with all facilities and a great garden with pool, Jacuzzi and relaxing area. Most people use their own little patio for reading, eating, etc and the common facilities if you want to interact with the other guests. I noticed that quiet a lot of them are not one time visitors, but come here every year! And I can see why. Regarding the location, I went windsurfing there multiple times, just by crossing the street at Sunset and taking off right from the beach. Do wear surfing shoes, as it there are sea urchins all over the reef. As it is close (less than one mile) to one of the nicest snorkeling places (Boca Catalina), we went there almost every day (mostly by car). On top of that the personnel and owners are extremely nice and helpful in advising what to do around the island. All in all, we'll be back.

My husband and I stayed in Aruba for a week. We stayed in Garden 9 which had a patio with ocean view. I felt this hotel has a great value. Great Trip! Great hotel ! Great staff! We will be back!

Wij hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad bij Sunset Beach in Aruba! De studio's zijn van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima bedden, een schone en ruime keuken en een heerlijk terras waar je gezellig met elkaar kunt ontbijten, maar ook van de bbq gebruik kan maken. Dagelijks wordt de studio schoongemaakt en voorzien van schone handdoeken. De ligging van Sunset is ook heel erg mooi in het noorden van het eiland. Pal aan de oceaan en dicht bij één van de mooiste snorkelplekken van het eiland. Wel is aan te raden om een auto te huren om alle overige mooie plekjes van Aruba te ontdekken. Sunset Beach is echt een aanrader! Mooi, heel gezellig, geweldig personeel wat je altijd wil helpen en een prachtige locatie! Jullie zien ons in ieder geval zeker terug! Als het aan ons ligt zeker tot weerziens!

What a wonderful, relaxing vacation in beautiful Aruba at Sunset Beach Studios. We loved the quiet, secluded location. Yet we were still able to drive to nearby parts of the Island. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We also enjoyed being able to sit on the terrace and the short walk across the street to the beach. We would love to return to the Island as well as Sunset Beach Studios.

Gregg & I have been coming to Aruba for last 6 years and we always stay here at Sunset ... Eve & JP are absolutely wonderful and the staff are just so sweet and wonderful they always take wonderful care of us and Jackie & Suzanne are wonderful also .. We highly recommend booking your place to stay is here ... It is so peaceful & quiet and straight across from the ocean and every evening you get an amazing sunset ... Heaven on Earth ...

Everyone (guests and staff), was so friendly. Additionally ,your team was quick to address any questions/concerns we had. If you want to relax, feel secure, appreciate a very attentive staff, meet wonderful people, enjoy beautiful sunsets, then a stay at Sunset Beach Studios should be a priority. Aruba is truly a beautiful island filled with plenty of amenities for the average and not-so-average visitor. The resorts are plentiful and so are the activities. However, if you are like me, I like to get away from the crowds and the chaos. Sunset Beach Studios allows its visitors to have the privacy, comfort, and amenities to feel at home but also have the freedom of being on vacation. The location is near the nightlife of the City but far away enough to have the privacy. Not only can one experience a gorgeous Aruban sunset, but to have the availability to take a night swim in the pool or relax in the hot tub and stargaze is a major bonus to a vacationer like myself. While the resorts are comfortable, so is Sunset Beach Studios. Additionally, I like having the options to make my meals or eat out while also not having to deal with the hoards of other vacationers--the supermarket is less than 8 mins away from the studios. Personally, I like to rent a vehicle and explore all the other beaches around the island--Catalina beach, small but incredibly fun, is another 6 mins away from the studios. I plan to visit Aruba again this summer with more members of my family, and Sunset Beach Studios will be my first choice! Bonus: the staff is terrific and helpful PLUS they respect your privacy. Plus all the guests I've encountered have been delightful. Don't overlook this place!

Sunset Beach Studios is a well known apartment house in Aruba. You can get discounts if you mention where you stay at if you rent a car or bikes etc. Just about 2 miles away from the "jungle" of Palm Beach we found here for our stay a nice and very relaxing little nest. Close to the most beloved Arashi beach, you will find also great roads for biking and or running. In the apartment is all you need even for cooking. We really loved this place for the 10 nights we spent there and if we can, we'll get back again.

Thank you for a great stay at Sunset Beach. If we are going back to Aruba, it is no doubt that we would prefer to stay with you in nice and relaxing surroundings that we enjoyed.

Had a great stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios! Studio was small but all we needed for 2. Owners and staff were very accommodating and the atmosphere was great!! Just a short way from the high rise hotels,much quieter and peaceful!! Beautiful but rocky beach in front of hotel that we walked each day and had almost to ourselves! Beautiful view of the ocean, lots of seashells! Accommodations had pool and hot tub which were great and never too crowded. Met up with other guests each night around the pool to visit, great place!! I will be staying there on my next visit to Aruba!!

We stayed at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios during Christmas 2015 and straight away we got the best welcome we could have hoped for. The airline lost our luggage and as it was holiday period it was basically impossible to have any contact to the airline service. The staff did basically everything they could to help us to contact the airline and the owners even lent us some of their own swimming suits and t-shirts that we could get by the first days without our own. The apartments are located in a very good and relaxing neighborhood and not far away from the "high rise" area where the brand hotels and casinos are located, especially if you walk by the beach line. There are not too much services very close by, but at least we enjoyed that we could make our own breakfast and enjoy it in our own terrace. Of course it helped that the kitchen was very well equipped. Overall we had the greatest holiday and really enjoyed our stay at Aruba and Sunset Beach Studios.

My sister and I traveled to Aruba for a nice, quiet and relaxing vacation. We choose to stay at small, local owned cottages for our yearly Sister Trip. Aruba Sunset Beach Studios was just what we were looking for. The location was fantastic, the people were friendly and helpful and we had everything we needed. If you're looking for resort type or party place lodging, this would not be for you. But if you want peace and quiet, a beautiful ocean, a nice pool and wonderful owners and staff, you won't go wrong with Aruba Sunset Beach Studios.

Our stay was fabulous - to say the least. Sitting at out outside table looking at the ocean and the sunsets made us not want to leave. The location is great. I caught a large bonefish right out front our second day. I also cannot say enough about you and the entire staff, very friendly and helpful. And to top it off, you did something to the Wifi and we could watch our dogs!

We have to say Aruba is an awesome place. The weather was great, the people were awesome. The staff at Sunset Beach are wonderful - very friendly and helpful and they ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable. Large Garden Studio 1 is our absolute favorite - nice size room, lots of natural light and good storage for your cloths and luggage and we loved the front deck - a nice place to relax. Again, thank you for making our stay a perfect one! We will be back some day :)

Dear Friends at Sunset Beach: After our second visit this year I can assure you we’ll be back. Had a wonderful time again. Enjoyed spending time with Jackie and Eve and JP. Loved Ocean 1. I think that’s going to be our home base in the future. Say HI to everyone from us and we already miss you.

The apartments are located at Palm Beach area, only 1 street separates the beach from the apartments. It is a wonderful area, white sand beaches, sometimes you can see Flamingos there and a variety of water sports can be practiced at Palm Beach. The owner of the apartment and the other staff are wonderful!!!! Very helpful, give you all information you need, rooms are very clean. I appreciate their customer service a lot! Buses leave in front of the apartment, the location is silent, perfect for relaxation, absolutely worth staying there! Kitchen is equipped with all necessary items, towels and toilet articles are included as well, very clean swimming pool, sunbeds in front of the pool. There wasn't anything to complain about! Best stay I've ever had, thank you so much!!!

First time to Aruba for us. What a great place to stay! Just a few minutes by car to the high rise areas for lots of shopping (Super Food became our best friend as we ate in for breakfast and one other meal) and restaurants and just a few minutes to the North was our favorite beach, Arashi. Jackie was very helpful with providing recommendations of places to visit (or not if they weren't worth it), restaurants, and beaches. Renting beach chairs for the week is highly recommended. They loaned us a cooler for the week, too. Eve reserved our Sunset Cruise while we were out and about. Friendly staff, beautiful place! Wish there was a ceiling fan on the patio of Ocean 1 because there was little air flow from the breeze but the scenery is stunning. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to Aruba for the first time this summer and stayed for 10 days in the Large Garden Studio at the Sunset Beach Studios. It was perfect for us. The studio has everything you need to live like a local in Aruba. Each morning we'd make coffee and sit on the deck to enjoy the view of the beach across the street. Each evening we'd sit in the same place, sipping a Balashi, watching the sunset. As we'd go off on adventures throughout our stay, the studio was the perfect place to return to--whether to grab a quick bite to eat or take a dip in the pool. Everyone who works at Sunset Beach Studios is incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is adorable and well maintained. It's quiet and private, the perfect setting to relax and unwind. If you're looking for a place swarming with tourists, bustling with overpriced (and usually not very good) restaurants and focused on the party, this is not the place for you. While we were happy to visit the Palm Beach/Eagle Beach area, we were so glad to be able to return to our studio. It's true: Sunset Beach Studios is not a luxury, five-star accommodation with perks like room service and a bar in the swimming pool. But it's charm and impeccable service and fun, local feel more than made up for it. One thing we highly recommend: Rent a car. The area is a little more residential and a car will allow you to not only do everyday things, like go to the grocery store and hit the laundry mat, but also it enables you to explore more of the island. We discovered so many different beaches and local takeaway spots because we had the car. And, if you do want to hit the town, you can hop on a bus that will take you to Palm Beach/Eagle Beach or Oranjestead.
